This Sears Silvertone 1457 with serial number 185 11090 is a vintage electric guitar and tube amplifier-in-case combo produced by Danelectro in Neptune, New Jersey, for Simpsons-Sears in Canada. The "185" prefix indicates that it was manufactured by Danelectro. 

Based on the 1457 model production run (1964–1967), this is a mid sixties item.

Very good condition.

• Body & Finish: Double-cutaway Masonite (hardboard) body with a red-burst finish.
• Pickups: Two "lipstick" single-coil pickups.
• Controls: Dual-concentric (stacked) volume and tone controls for each pickup, plus a 3-way toggle switch.
• Case Amp: The tube amp is built into the original carrying case, featuring a 5-watt design, 3 tubes (plus a rectifier), and an 8-inch speaker, often featuring a tremolo effect.
• Hardware: 6-in-a-box tuning machines, aluminum nut, and rosewood fretboard. 

Having the original case/amp intact is quite cool, as many were separated over the years.
