1964 Fender Bassman Amp and matching 2 x 12 cabinet
NK code indicates production of November 1964. This is a pre-CBS acquisition Fender Bassman amp with the Blackface circuit. Serviced very recently by Red Rock Amps in Winnipeg.
A 1964 Fender Bassman head with a 2x12 cabinet has 50 watts of power, uses two 6L6GC and four 12AX7 tubes, and features two channels with separate volume, treble, and bass controls. The cabinet has two 12-inch speakers, originally Jensens wired for a 4-ohm load, and this one features a classic blackface tolex finish.
