The Fender Montreux is a 100-watt, two-channel, solid-state, 1x12" combo amplifier from the mid-1980s Rivera era, featuring active 4-band EQ on channel 2, passive 2-band EQ on channel 1, Rivera style effects loop (which is to say excellent), and studio-quality reverb. It has a front-panel-controlled EQ, and offers significant tonal versatility with its channel switching and effects loop.

Paul Rivera was recruited by Fender to bolster their amp designs in the 1980s. This amplifier was one of those moves in the right direction.

100 watts of output.
