Used Epiphone WILTSHIRE Vintage Electric Guitar Cherry Sunburst 6-String

$799.98

Shipping: $90

Description

Epiphone Wiltshire double cutaway guitar with H/H configuation.

Made in Japan

Bound neck / Bolt on

The backing plate on this guitar indicates "Steel adjustable neck" which was commonly used by the Matsumoku factory in Japan, when they built guitars for Epiphone. These guitars were made from late 1978 - 1985.

The Epiphone Wilshire humbucker model features a mahogany body, a mahogany neck with a medium C profile, and two Epiphone humbuckers offering a powerful, vintage tone suitable for blues and rock, with dual volume and tone controls and a 3-way toggle. Key hardware includes a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge, Stop Bar tailpiece.

Condition - very good to excellent. This one has been played a lot and needed some Tender Loving Care when it came to us. The truss rod is fully operational. When we recieved this instrument it needed an adjustment and full set up. We cleaned, polished the body and released the neck, then set it up with new strings.

Cosmetic condition - very good, considering its age.

Functional condition - plays beautifully, much like a US-made Gibson Les Paul. Holds tune and the action is nice and low with no buzzing.

An oldie but a goldie.

Come out and try out this beautiful vintage MIJ electric.
