Description

This Roland GK-2A is a second-generation hexaphonic divided pickup and synthesizer driver designed to let a standard electric guitar interface with Roland guitar synthesizers and modeling processors.

Core Functionality

• Hexaphonic Design: Contains six individual tiny pickups—one for each string—sending separate analog signals for every string.
•

• Not a MIDI Pickup: It transmits analog audio for each string alongside patch-change and volume control data via a 13-pin GK cable, requiring an external synth or processor to convert or use the signals.
•

• 3-Position Switch: Allows you to toggle between the synthesized sound, the normal natural guitar sound, or a mix of both
