The Paul Reed Smith (PRS) CE 24 combines the warmth of a mahogany body with the snap and response of a maple neck. The original CE line was first introduced in 1988. While there is no specific "S-Type" model, the CE 24 is designed to capture some of the tonal characteristics associated with classic "S-type" guitars (those in the style of a Fender Stratocaster) while retaining PRS's signature look and feel.
