The Image Delay IDL-9 is a rare, vintage analog delay pedal from the 1980s that was manufactured in Japan. It is highly regarded by collectors and enthusiasts for its unique, warm analog sound. While information is scarce, it is known that the company Maxon manufactured many pedals in Japan during this era for other brands, including a similar analog delay.

• The IDL-9 is an analog delay pedal, using so-called bucket-brigade device (BBD) chips, which produce warm, rich, and naturally decaying repeats. This is in contrast to the clearer, more pristine repeats of modern digital delay pedals.

This one is in very good shape and works fine.

As a result of its rarity and vintage components, the IDL-9 is a highly sought-after collector's item.
