The Jackson David Ellefson CBX IV in Quicksilver is a 4-string signature bass guitar designed for high-speed, technical playing, featuring active EMG pickups and a powerful 3-band EQ. It offers a balance of comfort, aggressive tone, and enhanced sustain. 

• Body: Poplar body with ergonomic contours for comfort and a gloss Quicksilver finish.
• Neck: Bolt-on quartersawn maple neck with graphite reinforcement and a scarf joint for stability. It features a fast "Speed" neck profile and a 34" scale length.
• Fingerboard: A 12"-16" compound radius laurel (or rosewood, depending on the specific model year) fingerboard flattens out towards the body for comfortable, high-speed articulation. It has 21 jumbo frets and pearloid sharkfin inlays.
• Pickups: Equipped with active EMG HZ35 humbucking pickups in both the neck and bridge positions, providing a fat, punchy sound. Some versions (often the 30th Anniversary model) feature EMG P/J style pickups (EMG P neck and EMG J bridge).
• Electronics: A full set of controls including a master volume, blend knob, and an active 3-band EQ (bass, middle, treble) to shape your tone.
• Hardware: All-black hardware, including a Jackson HiMass bridge for improved sustain and sealed die-cast tuning machines.
• Aesthetics: Jackson's signature pointed 4-in-line headstock features the "Radiation" logo and Ellefson's signature embossed on the truss rod cover.
