The 2015 Epiphone Dot VS is a 6-string semi-hollow body electric guitar manufactured in Epiphone's factory in Qingdao, China. It is modeled after the legendary Gibson ES-335 and features a Vintage Sunburst (VS) finish. 

Construction & Materials

• Body: Crafted from laminated maple for the top, back, and sides. It features a solid mahogany center block (or "tone block") that increases sustain and reduces feedback compared to fully hollow instruments.
• Neck: Features a set mahogany neck with a comfortable SlimTaper™ "D" profile.
• Fingerboard: A 12-inch radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets and classic pearloid dot inlays, from which the model derives its name. 

Electronics & Hardware

• Pickups: Equipped with a pair of Alnico humbuckers: an Alnico Classic™ in the neck and an Alnico Classic Plus™ in the bridge position, designed to deliver vintage-style PAF tones.
• Controls: Standard four-knob layout featuring two volume and two tone controls with a three-way pickup selector switch.
• Hardware: Includes a LockTone™ Tune-o-matic bridge and StopBar tailpiece for improved sustain and tuning stability, paired with Grover® Rotomatic™ tuners (18:1 ratio).
