This G&L Comanche is a USA-made electric guitar featuring Leo Fender's final double-cutaway bolt-on design, Z-coil pickups, and a Passive Treble and Bass (PTB) system.
The G&L Comanche was the last double-cutaway bolt-on guitar designed by Leo Fender before his passing, representing the peak of his career innovations. Built at the historic facility on Fender Avenue in Fullerton, California, it takes inspiration from traditional strat-style aesthetics but introduces advanced proprietary electronics and hardware.
Construction & Scale: Bolt-on design with a 25-1/2-inch scale length.
Pickups & Hardware: Equipped with three Magnetic Field Design (MFD) Z-Coil hum-cancelling pickups and a Dual-Fulcrum vibrato bridge.
Electronics & Switching: Features volume, bass, treble (PTB system), a 5-position selector, and an expander control for additional pickup combinations.
