Description

This QSC TouchMix-8 does not function as a direct USB computer audio interface for a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW).

Recording Capabilities

• Direct-to-Disk Recording: Records multitrack wave files (up to 14 channels) directly to an external USB hard drive or solid-state drive connected to the mixer.
•

• No USB-B Computer Port: Unlike the larger TouchMix-30 Pro, the TouchMix-8 lacks a USB-B port for direct Mac or PC USB audio streaming.
•

• DAW Workflow: To use recordings in a computer DAW, you must record tracks to the external USB drive on the mixer, then transfer/export those files from the drive to your computer.
•

• Playback and MP3: Supports stereo MP3 playback and two-track playback from a formatted USB storage device
