The Boss XS-1 Poly Shifter is a compact polyphonic pitch-shifting and instant retuning guitar pedal. It lets musicians shift their instrument's pitch across plus or minus seven semitones and up to three full octaves without latency or tone loss

• Pitch Range: Shift up or down by 7 semitones or up to 3 octaves, plus a Detune mode (+/- 20 cents) for rich doubling.
• Knobs & Switches: Includes a Balance knob to mix direct and effected signals, a Shift knob, and a Shift Direction switch (up, down, detune).
• Operation Modes: Supports standard toggle on/off or momentary switching.
• Connectivity: Features 1/4-inch input/output jacks and a CTL/EXP jack to plug in an external expression pedal or footswitches for preset tuning recalls.
• Power: Runs on a single 9V battery (approx. 3 hours life) or an optional AC adapter (drawing 120 mA).
