The HD-28 reintroduced some features that hadn't been seen on Martins since the 1940s, including herringbone trim and scalloped bracing

The guitar is in great shape. The top has a bit of finish checking, and the sides and back have clouded a tiny bit. The first few frets have some minor divots, but they don't affect playability. The bridge has been re-glued at some point, but it looks to have been a professional job.
