One of only 300 total made, this accurate reproduction of a 1968 Les Paul Custom is an incredible player. It features period correct two piece maple top, non weight relieved mahogany body and proper 14 degree headstock angle. I'm sure you all know by now, but 1968 was an important year for Gibson. After nearly a decade without a proper Les Paul, they brought two models back: a Standard (goldtop with p90's), and a Black Beauty Custom.

I have been lucky enough to have had a good amount of play time with the real deal 1968 Les Paul Standard, and a real 1968 Les Paul Custom. This 50th anniversary feels every bit as good as the original guitar. It feels right, sounds right, and plays incredibly well. This one is in excellent condition with only intentional wear from the factory. It comes with the original case, COA, hang tags, and case candy. Weighing only 8 lbs 15.9oz (OK, I'll call it 9 lbs), it is very light as Customs go
