The Martin 00-18G is a nylon-string classical acoustic guitar introduced in the 1930s, built with Martin’s renowned craftsmanship. It features a smaller 00-size body, solid mahogany back and sides, and a spruce top, delivering a warm, balanced, and intimate tone. Designed for classical and fingerstyle players, the 00-18G combines traditional Martin quality with the expressive character of gut or nylon strings.
This 1956 model is a great player but is not without some typical issues for its age. There is some bridge lift and the top is warped. Both of these issues have been addressed with some additional bracing. It has had some fret work and a French Polish on the back. This guitar has been priced accordingly but please call with any questions before placing an on-line order.
