This all original 1962 P Bass has a ton of mojo and sounds incredible, too. It is all original except for the volume pot, and the possibility of the knobs. The frets have plenty of life in them, and the truss rod works as it should. The pickup is loud, clear, and very present. Well worn, but in all the right way with mising finish on the body and neck, and a shrinking pickguard.
The original case was lost to time, but we added a AVRI tweed case to keep with the vintage vibe.
I try to convince myself that the vintage guitars and basses don't sound better, or play better than current USA instruments... then I pick a piece like this up, and I am reminded how great these golden era instruments are. This is seriously a wonderful instrument.
