Description

A classic single-manual clonewheel organ first introduced in 1979, the Korg CX-3 was designed to faithfully emulate the sound and feel of a Hammond tonewheel organ in a much more portable, stage-ready package. It features a 61-key waterfall keyboard, nine drawbars, and controls for percussion, key click, overdrive, and tone shaping, plus a built-in rotary-speaker (Leslie) emulator to recreate that iconic swirling sound. Renowned for convincing organ timbres that worked well live or in the studio, it became one of the few compact instruments of its era capable of producing Hammond-style tones without hauling around vintage gear.
