It features a solid spruce top, figured maple back and sides, maple neck, and ebony fingerboard, along with ornate vintage appointments and a distinctive sunburst finish. Japanese-made KM-850s from the late 1970s and 1980s are particularly well regarded for their craftsmanship and musical character.
