• Neck: A slim "C"-shaped maple neck with a flatter 12-inch radius fretboard.
• Electronics: Active electronics powered by a battery, including an active boost circuit. It used three single-coil pickups, with a dummy coil under the pickguard to eliminate hum. Controls included three push-button pickup selectors.
• Hardware: The Freeflyte tremolo system was also used on this model. It also included sealed Schaller tuners and a unique locking fine-tune mechanism on the headstock.
