The 2012 Fender Johnny Marr Jaguar is a distinctive artist-signature offset guitar designed in collaboration with Johnny Marr of The Smiths. Based on Marr’s own 1965 Jaguar, this model preserves the classic short-scale feel and vintage character of the original while adding practical upgrades for improved versatility, tuning stability, and stage performance.

Its pair of custom-wound Bare Knuckle Johnny Marr single-coil pickups delivers articulate, chime-filled tones with plenty of definition for indie, alternative, rock, pop, and atmospheric styles. A four-position blade selector replaces the traditional Jaguar switching layout, offering bridge, bridge-and-neck in parallel, neck, and both pickups in series for a fuller, higher-output sound. Two upper-horn switches provide additional bright-filter options, making this Jaguar capable of everything from warm rhythm textures to cutting, jangly lead tones.

The custom-profile maple neck, 24-inch scale length, vintage-style frets, floating tremolo, and Jaguar bridge with Mustang saddles create a comfortable, expressive playing experience with the unmistakable feel of a classic Fender offset.
