Used Glory Sound Custom RL 7-Piece Solid Wood Drum Kit

Description

This Glory Sound Custom RL 7-Piece Solid Wood Drum Kit is a substantial custom-style acoustic drum setup designed for drummers who want an expansive configuration with plenty of tonal range around the kit. With seven drums to work with, this setup offers significantly more flexibility than a traditional four- or five-piece kit and is well suited for players who incorporate multiple tom voices into their arrangements.

The solid wood construction gives this kit particular appeal for players looking for a more specialized acoustic drum setup. A large configuration like this can cover everything from deep, powerful grooves to elaborate tom fills and melodic drum parts, making it a strong choice for rock, progressive rock, metal, fusion, gospel, worship, studio work, and large live-production setups.

With seven pieces available, the kit gives the drummer room to create a wide tonal spread between higher and lower drums. That makes it especially useful for progressive and technical styles where tom placement and tuning play a major role in the overall drum sound. It can also be configured more simply when the full seven-piece setup isn't required.

In a recording studio, an extended acoustic kit provides engineers with a broad palette of drum tones. Individual close microphones can be combined with overhead and room microphones for anything from a tight, controlled production to a large and ambient drum sound. The solid wood construction also makes the kit an interesting option for studios seeking a drum set with a distinctive identity outside the major mass-production brands.

Because Glory Sound Custom drums are considerably less common than mainstream production kits, exact shell construction, wood species, shell thickness, bearing edges, drum dimensions, hardware, finish, and original factory configuration should be determined from the actual kit rather than assumed. Please refer carefully to the photos for the exact seven drums included and all accompanying hardware or accessories.
