Used Lauten Audio LA-320 Tube Condenser Microphone

Description

The Lauten Audio LA-320 is a professional large-diaphragm tube condenser microphone designed to deliver a warm, smooth, and detailed sound for studio recording. Combining tube circuitry with a large-diaphragm capsule, the LA-320 is especially appealing for engineers and musicians who want a vocal microphone with rich harmonic character without sacrificing clarity and definition.

The LA-320 is particularly well suited for lead vocals, background vocals, voice-over, acoustic guitar, electric guitar cabinets, piano, strings, percussion, and other detailed acoustic sources. Its tube-based signal path can add body and dimension to vocals, while the condenser design captures the detail and transient response needed for acoustic instruments.

One of the microphone's useful studio features is its onboard filtering. Selectable high-pass and low-pass filters allow the engineer to shape the signal directly at the microphone. The high-pass option can help control unnecessary low-frequency buildup, while the low-pass filter can soften excessive high-frequency energy on brighter sources.

As a tube microphone, the LA-320 uses a dedicated external power supply rather than relying on conventional 48V phantom power. This makes the microphone, its power supply, and the appropriate multi-pin cable a complete recording system. Please refer carefully to the photos to verify exactly which power supply, microphone cable, shockmount, case, power cord, and other accessories are included with this particular example.

For project and professional studios alike, the Lauten Audio LA-320 provides an attractive alternative to standard solid-state condensers. It is particularly useful as a dedicated vocal microphone while remaining versatile enough to move around the studio for instrument and amplifier recording.

Condition

This Lauten Audio LA-320 is used, tested, and fully functional. It shows normal signs of wear consistent with previous studio use. For the exact cosmetic condition of the microphone body, grille, switches, connector, power supply, controls, cables, shockmount, case, power cord, and any other included accessories, please refer carefully to the photos provided.

Because the LA-320 requires its dedicated tube-microphone power system for operation, please use the photos to verify the exact power supply and multi-pin microphone cable included with this unit.
