Used Alvarez Yairi DY-84M Acoustic Guitar

Description

The Alvarez Yairi DY-84M is a distinctive Japanese-made acoustic guitar from the celebrated Yairi workshop, combining traditional craftsmanship with an immediately recognizable design. Vintage Alvarez Yairi instruments have developed a strong following among players who appreciate hand-built character, quality materials, and guitars that stand apart from more conventional production acoustics.

This is the kind of instrument that attracts attention before a note is played, yet its appeal goes well beyond cosmetics. It offers the mature response and individual character players seek from an older Japanese Yairi.

This guitar is a compelling choice for fingerstyle, singer-songwriter work, folk, acoustic rock, country, studio recording, and general acoustic performance. Its distinctive construction can also make it a useful studio alternative when a conventional dreadnought or orchestra-style acoustic isn't providing the texture a track needs.

Older Yairi guitars can vary in specification, and an instrument of this age may have experienced normal maintenance, repairs, or component replacement during its lifetime. For that reason, please use the photos to verify the exact woods, bridge, tuners, nut and saddle, binding, finish, label and serial information, electronics if present, and any included case or accessories. We do not assume that every component remains factory original unless specifically documented.

Condition

This Alvarez Yairi DY-84M is used, tested, and fully functional. It shows normal signs of wear consistent with its age and previous use. Vintage acoustic instruments may exhibit scratches, dings, finish wear, checking, hardware aging, pick wear, and other age-related cosmetic characteristics.

Please refer carefully to the photos for the exact condition of the top, back and sides, neck, fingerboard, frets, bridge, saddle, nut, tuners, binding, soundholes, finish, interior label, and hardware. Any previous repairs, modifications, replaced components, or other age-related details should be evaluated from the photos and instrument itself.
