Used Electro-Voice EVOLVE 50 Powered Column Array PA Speaker System

Description

The Electro-Voice EVOLVE 50 is a professional powered column array PA system designed to deliver powerful, clear sound in an elegant, portable format. Combining a high-output subwoofer, lightweight column array, integrated amplification, and onboard digital mixing capabilities, the EVOLVE 50 is an outstanding choice for musicians, DJs, mobile entertainers, event professionals, and venues that need excellent sound without a complicated speaker setup.

One of the EVOLVE 50's biggest advantages is its compact three-piece design. The system consists of a powered subwoofer, an aluminum distance pole, and a slim column array speaker. The components assemble quickly, creating a professional-looking sound system with a small footprint and minimal visible cabling.

The system features a 12-inch subwoofer that delivers deep, punchy low frequencies, making it especially effective for live music, DJ performances, and events where a strong bass foundation is essential.

Above the subwoofer, the column array contains eight 3.5-inch neodymium drivers, engineered to provide excellent vocal intelligibility and consistent coverage throughout the listening area.

With 1,000 watts of Class-D amplification, the EVOLVE 50 delivers impressive output for its size. Its efficient design makes it suitable for everything from intimate acoustic performances to larger indoor events and mobile entertainment applications.

A major highlight is the system's wide 120-degree horizontal coverage, helping distribute sound evenly across the audience. Its controlled vertical dispersion also helps focus sound toward listeners while reducing unwanted reflections from floors and ceilings.

The EVOLVE 50 includes Electro-Voice's QuickSmart DSP, providing convenient access to system settings, EQ, output levels, and performance presets. This allows users to optimize the speaker for different rooms and applications without requiring extensive audio engineering experience.

Its integrated three-channel mixer provides convenient connectivity for microphones, instruments, mixers, and other audio sources. Bluetooth audio streaming adds flexibility for background music, playback tracks, and mobile entertainment.

The system also supports Bluetooth-based wireless control through the Electro-Voice QuickSmart Mobile app, allowing compatible devices to adjust key settings remotely.

For live musicians, the EVOLVE 50 is an excellent choice for solo acoustic performers, singer-songwriters, small bands, keyboardists, and vocal presentations. Its clear midrange and wide coverage help vocals and instruments remain articulate throughout a performance space.

For DJs and event professionals, the system offers a clean appearance, strong bass response, and efficient setup, making it ideal for weddings, corporate events, private parties, receptions, and mobile entertainment.

The EVOLVE 50 is also well suited to houses of worship, conference rooms, presentations, and other environments where speech intelligibility and unobtrusive speaker placement are important.

Whether you're upgrading a mobile PA system, building a professional DJ rig, or searching for a portable speaker with exceptional coverage and sound quality, the Electro-Voice EVOLVE 50 delivers powerful performance, convenient operation, and the reliability associated with Electro-Voice professional audio equipment.
