Finished in Black with multi-ply binding, gold hardware, and block inlays, this example has been refurbished by Gibson and includes its original hard case.

*This guitar has a unique construction story. As it was told to us by it's previous owner: It started as a 1974 Custom. It was damaged in a flood a few years later, when the owner returned it to Gibson for repair and rebuild in 1978. Gibson installed a neck from their recent inventory, which the previous owner believes was a factory second. Gibson also replaced all the electronics and hardware with 1978 stock parts, as well as refinishing the whole guitar at that point. During this process they re-stamped the headstock with the original serial number from the 1974 Custom. To sum up, this guitar was damaged in a flood in the mid 1970's and completely rebuilt and refinshed by Gibson with factory parts from their current stock in 1978.*
