This Empress Effects ParaEq with Boost gives you surgical control over your tone with three fully parametric EQ bands and an independent clean boost. Each EQ band provides adjustable frequency, gain, and Q controls, letting you precisely cut troublesome frequencies, emphasize the sweet spots in your instrument, or completely reshape the response of your rig. The boost section provides up to 30dB of clean gain for pushing an amp, raising solo volume, or hitting another pedal harder.

The ParaEq stands apart from conventional graphic EQ pedals because you can choose exactly which frequencies you want to affect and how wide or narrow each adjustment should be.
