This Gold Tone CEB-5 brings the deep, resonant voice of a cello banjo to a familiar five-string playing format. Its oversized 14-inch maple rim, Renaissance head, rolled brass tone ring, and 24.75-inch scale create a powerful low register with plenty of acoustic presence.

Tuned to open C, one octave below a standard five-string banjo, the CEB-5 is well suited for bass lines, rich accompaniment, and distinctive low-register melodies. Its ebony fingerboard, planetary tuners, and open-back construction give banjo players an inviting way to explore an entirely different tonal range. The original hard case is included.
