Used Fender 1975 TELECASTER REFIN Electric Guitar
$2,499.99
Description
- What we have here is a very interesting Tele, Neck is stamped by the illustrious HERB G, with 8 digit ID (1303415?) 13 is the model for Standard Tele, 03 being Maple board, 41st week of the year, and 5 for 1975, the last number for the day of the week is too obscured to properly read. Pot codes put it as a CTS 1973. The Serial stamp on the neck plate puts it into Late 1975 as well. The body doesn't have the diagonal wire route between the 2 pickups which is common in the 70s. Pickups have been replaced with unbranded models, very high output (14.4K bridge and 13.8K neck) likely ceramic magnet since they aren't a noiseless or stacked model, they seem a little microphonic as well. Bridge is a 3 steel saddle Fender Pat No. bridge that were used from the 60s through the 70s, Tuners appear to be the original Big F ones, replaced nut. Body has been refinished in a thin black paint that looks to be brushed on. The only neck pocket identification I could find is the stamps for ANDY and THOMAS. Comes with what appears to be an unbranded case from the same 70s era, has Excelsior latches, Trim+piping and rounded ends meaning probably higher end American built
