Used Fender 1982 PRECISION BASS Guitar Sunburst 4-String

• Great playing and sounding bass. This is a bit of a unusual bird thanks to that "incredible" Fender QC. The serial number on the headstock would generally indicate this bass as a 79, but the ink stamp on the butt of the neck dates it to 82. Fender would regularly use up remaining serial number decals to clear out parts, whether it matched the year or not. Pots and pickups seem original, foam on underside of pickup is loose but still there and doing it's job. Action is a little under 3mm at the 12th fret, but the neck is straight, truss rod works good and action can likely be lowered more with a simple neck shim. 10.8 pounds, 10.8k output. Case looks like fender cases of that era
