It is the first year they were offered back in 2008. Beautiful relic work over an Ash body finished in Butterscotch nitro lacquer. There are a few very nice upgrades.
Here they are: Replaced the Tex-Mex pups with a set of Fender "Original 50's" models. They really capture the vintage 50's snap and growl that the Tex- Mex ones just did not have. I also added a matte finished "Bakelite" pickguard instead of the pvc plastic stock model. There is also an aged "ashtray" bridge cover provided. Added all aged "slotted-screws" to the guitar for good measure. All of the hardware has been additionally aged to match the relic'ing of the body and neck. The Tele weighs in at only 7lbs-6ounces
Comes with an older, AVRI thermometer tweed case.
