If you punish your snare drum with a heavy hand, you'd better make sure your snare drum head can keep up. The Evans ST Dry Snare Drum drum head is most certainly up to the task. How do we know? Because "ST" stands for "Super Tough". The Evans ST Dry is made from two plies of 7.5mil film, with small holes drilled around the outside that dramatically reduce overtones and sustain. The resulting sound is warm and dry, with sharp attack and great projection. At the Drum Center of Portsmouth, we know all about rocking at maximum volume.
