Used 1964-1965 FENDER DELUXE REVERB Tube Guitar Amplifier

This is an original black panel era Deluxe Reverb Amplifier that has cosmetic wear consistent with its age, and very slight modification. The serial number and code on the tube chart officially dates this amp at February 1965, but many components in the chassis are dated to 1964.

The original two prong cord has been replaced with a modern three prong cord, and is not included with the amplifier. The tubes are non original. Otherwise, the amplifier is fully stock. The amplifier is still running at roughly 117 volts, so a Brown Box or other comparable voltage regulator is recommended for safe use. The speaker is the original Jensen that was stock in these amps, and shows scratches and logo fading throughout. The tolex on the amp shows multiple scuffs, scratches, and splitting on corners of the cabinet. The front control panel shows scratches on the knobs, but is otherwise fairly clean for its age. The bottom right corner of the grill cloth shows some fading and discoloration. The original tube chart is still in the amp, albeit with some tears, but it is still legible. The baffle and cabinetry of the amp show cosmetic wear, but are both structurally intact. The original vinyl covering of the spring tank is worn and discolored. The original footswitch is included with this amp; there is heavy discoloration throughout he finish of the footswitch, but it is fully functional. This amp has been fully tested, and is in good working order, with no apparent functional issues. All photos as examples of condition have been added to this listing.
