Ampeg SGT-DI designed as a professional all-in-one bass preamp, direct box, and headphone practice solution that delivers authentic Ampeg tone in a pedalboard-friendly format. The Super Grit Technology overdrive circuit features switchable SVT and B-15 voices, allowing players to dial in everything from warm vintage tube character to aggressive modern grind. A 3-band EQ with sweepable mids, Ultra-Hi switch, and 3-way Ultra-Lo control provide extensive tone-shaping flexibility for virtually any bass and musical style.

The SGT-DI also includes a built-in variable 10:1 compressor, balanced XLR direct output, preamp out, dry thru, aux input, and headphone output for silent practice and recording. One of its standout features is Ampeg’s onboard IR loader and cabinet simulator, which includes six factory cabinet impulse responses and the ability to load custom IRs via USB-C using the Ampeg IR Loader software.

Built in a rugged metal enclosure and powered by the included 9V adapter, the SGT-DI effectively places a complete Ampeg bass rig at your feet.
