JourneyTek EP001K Passive 3-Piezo Pickup

The JourneyTek EP001K is a passive piezo pickup designed to amplify the natural tone of your acoustic guitar. It features three balanced German-made ceramic piezo elements, each 20mm in diameter, providing a transparent and natural sound. Installation requires minimal modification to your guitar, involving drilling the endpin jack hole and gluing the elements to the bridge plate. The pickup includes a standard 1/4-inch (6.3mm) mono output jack and operates without the need for batteries. With a frequency response of 22Hz–18kHz and an impedance under 1 MΩ, it captures a wide range of acoustic frequencies. The EP001K is compatible with 12-string guitars and can be upgraded to an active stereo pickup system featuring a gooseneck microphone and discrete soundhole controls for volume, balance, bass, treble, and phase. For guitars with narrow x-bracing under the saddle, such as the Martin Jr or Taylor GS Mini, the EP101KM model is recommended.

All used gear is fully tested when it comes into our shop and again before shipping, so you can buy with confidence. Any included accessories will be shown in the photos, and if there are any functional issues, they’ll always be noted in the listing. Since these are used items, you can expect normal cosmetic wear that doesn’t always show up clearly in pictures. Everything we sell is also available to try in-store, so a little extra demo wear may be present.

We ship to the contiguous 48 states with flat-rate pricing that usually covers the maximum cost (including insurance). If the shipping looks high, send us your ZIP and we’ll get you a more accurate estimate. Orders outside the lower 48 may require additional processing and shipping costs — please reach out before ordering.

Some larger or fragile items (like big amps, drum kits, or cabs) may not have a shipping option listed because they’re safest for local pickup. If you’re not sure, just contact us and we’ll confirm if it can be shipped.

You have 48 hours from delivery to let us know if you’d like to return an item. Buyer covers return shipping, and a 20% restocking fee applies per store policy.
