The Carver PM-700 is a professional-grade power amplifier designed for both studio and live sound applications. It delivers 225 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 350 watts per channel into 4 ohms, with a bridged mono output of 700 watts into 8 ohms. The amplifier features XLR and 1/4" TRS input connectors, accepting both balanced and unbalanced lines. Each channel has independent level controls with 11 detented positions, and the amplifier includes a level control defeat switch for full gain operation. It offers dual mono and bridged mono modes, providing versatility for various setups. The PM-700 is equipped with a Class H dual-rail power supply, ensuring efficient operation. Protection features include speaker relays that disconnect in case of DC offset, over-temperature, or short circuits, as well as a clipping eliminator and an AL line fuse. The amplifier also includes a power connected/standby indicator and a 2-speed fan for cooling. It is internally configurable for 0.775V or 1.5V RMS input sensitivity and input polarity. The PM-700 is housed in a 1U rackmount chassis, making it suitable for professional audio environments.

Any included accessories will be shown in the photos, and if there are any functional issues, they’ll always be noted in the listing. Since these are used items, you can expect normal cosmetic wear that doesn’t always show up clearly in pictures. Everything we sell is also available to try in-store, so a little extra demo wear may be present.

We ship to the contiguous 48 states with flat-rate pricing that usually covers the maximum cost (including insurance). If the shipping looks high, send us your ZIP and we’ll get you a more accurate estimate. Orders outside the lower 48 may require additional processing and shipping costs — please reach out before ordering.

Some larger or fragile items (like big amps, drum kits, or cabs) may not have a shipping option listed because they’re safest for local pickup. If you’re not sure, just contact us and we’ll confirm if it can be shipped.

You have 48 hours from delivery to let us know if you’d like to return an item. Buyer covers return shipping, and a 20% restocking fee applies per store policy.
