Description
Used Reinhart FX Stick of Truth Distortion Pedal
Overview
The Stick of Truth is a locally built Toledo-made distortion pedal from Reinhart FX, based on a modified version of the EarthQuaker Devices Acapulco Gold circuit. Like the Acapulco Gold, it delivers the huge, saturated “cranked Sunn Model T”–style distortion, but with Reinhart’s personal tweaks for improved tone shaping and gain control.
The three-knob layout—Loud, Growl, and Tone—makes it easy to dial in everything from thick, wooly doom distortion to sharper chainsaw crunch. It reacts strongly to your guitar volume and pickup choice, making it surprisingly dynamic for such a high-gain design.
A fun, unique take on a modern classic circuit, and a cool piece from a local Toledo builder.
