The Digitech PDS 1550 Programmable Distortion is a classic late-1980s/early-1990s analog distortion pedal built by DOD Electronics in the USA. Unlike typical single-sound distortion pedals, the PDS 1550 features two fully independent distortion channels (A & B) that can be programmed and switched via footswitch, making it a powerful and flexible gain tool for live use.
