Overview 

The ART DR2a is a classic early digital rack reverb from Applied Research & Technology (ART), built during the golden age of affordable rack processors. Made in Rochester, NY, this 1U unit delivers a variety of reverb algorithms including plate, room, hall, gated, reverse, and other ambient textures that became staples in live rigs and project studios.

The front panel allows control over room type, pre-delay, high-frequency damping, position, decay time, and reverb level. Rear-panel connections include stereo inputs and outputs, mixed out, input level control (low/high), dry kill, and a dedicated reverb kill footswitch jack—making it useful for live applications.

Great for vintage rack builds, guitar rack systems, home studios, or anyone chasing that early digital reverb character.
