The MXR Distortion + is one of the most iconic distortion pedals ever made. Known for its simple two-knob layout and raw, amp-like clipping character, the Distortion + delivers everything from gritty boost tones to saturated vintage distortion.

With just Output and Distortion controls, this pedal is extremely easy to dial in. It excels at pushing a tube amp into rich breakup or delivering classic ‘70s and ‘80s hard rock tones on its own. The Distortion + is famous for its smooth clipping response and articulate sustain without excessive compression.
