Reinhart Effects Fighting Falcon Overdrive Pedal

The Reinhart Effects Fighting Falcon is a boutique overdrive pedal based on the Ibanez JD9 Jet Driver circuit. According to the documentation provided with the pedal, the Fighting Falcon is a 1:1 clone of the JD9, delivering a Tube Screamer-style overdrive circuit with the added flexibility of a powerful dedicated mids control.

The four-knob layout gives you considerably more control over the EQ than a traditional three-knob Tube Screamer-style pedal. Level controls overall output, Drive adjusts the amount of gain, Tone controls the overall brightness and darkness, and Mids allows you to dial in either a stronger mid bump or a more scooped response.

This makes the Fighting Falcon useful for everything from a lower-gain boost into an amp or another drive pedal to thicker, more saturated overdrive sounds, while the adjustable mids control provides additional flexibility for matching different guitars, amps, and playing styles.
