Used Vintage Herk Favilla PS Mahogany Acoustic Guitar Made in USA w/ Chipboard Case

Built in New York during the golden era of Favilla production, this vintage Herk Favilla PS is a wonderful example of an American-made folk guitar from the early 1960s. Featuring an all-mahogany body, this guitar produces the warm, dry, woody tone that has made vintage Favilla instruments increasingly sought after by collectors and players alike.

This guitar has clearly been well loved over the years and has the cosmetic wear to prove it. The original pickguard is missing, leaving behind the original footprint where it was once installed. There is also an open side seam that should be considered a repair project. Despite the cosmetic wear, the guitar retains plenty of vintage charm and would make an excellent restoration candidate or player for someone looking for authentic vintage American tone.

This guitar is in Fair used condition. It shows heavy cosmetic wear including scratches, finish wear, dings, edge wear, and finish loss on the back of the neck from years of use. The original pickguard is missing. There is an open side seam that will require repair before the instrument can be considered structurally sound.
