Overview

The Electro-Voice T53 is a classic professional-grade 3-way stage and PA speaker from EV's highly respected T-Series. Designed for live sound reinforcement, churches, rehearsal spaces, and small-to-medium venues, the T53 combines a 15" woofer, dedicated 10" midrange driver, and high-frequency compression driver on a constant-directivity horn for impressive output and vocal clarity.

Unlike many PA cabinets of the era, the T53 was designed to operate either full-range through its internal crossover network or in bi-amp mode for greater system control. With a sensitivity rating of approximately 100 dB and a 300-watt continuous power rating, these cabinets are capable of substantial output while maintaining excellent intelligibility. The trapezoidal cabinet design also makes them suitable for clustered PA installations.
