Used Ibanez ATK3EX1 4-String Active Bass Guitar Black 2007 - Modified Electronics

The Ibanez ATK series has earned a reputation for delivering huge low-end punch, outstanding sustain, and versatile modern bass tones. This 2007 ATK3EX1 features the signature ATK body design, comfortable maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, and the powerful triple-coil bridge pickup that has made the series a favorite among bass players for decades.

This bass has been modified with upgraded active electronics that require two 9-volt batteries. It features two mini-toggle switches and an LED indicator that are not believed to be original equipment. The exact functions of the switches have not been verified. During testing, the bass functions properly in active mode; however, one switch position does not produce output.

Condition:

This bass is in good overall condition and has been tested. It performs well in active mode and delivers the powerful, aggressive tone the ATK series is known for.

Cosmetically, the instrument shows moderate signs of normal use, including light scratches, swirl marks, and finish wear throughout the body. The hardware has light cosmetic oxidation, and a few screw heads show minor surface rust. The neck is straight, the frets have plenty of life remaining, and the bass plays comfortably.

Please note that the electronics have been modified from the factory configuration. The onboard electronics require two 9V batteries, and while the bass operates properly in active mode, one switch position does not produce output. Because the electronics have been modified, the exact function of each switch is unknown.
