This Taylor LKSM Leo Kottke Signature 12-String is a beautifully crafted American-made acoustic built during the early years of Taylor's highly regarded Leo Kottke Signature series. Designed in collaboration with legendary fingerstyle guitarist Leo Kottke, the LKSM combines Taylor's exceptional playability with the rich, full-bodied sound that made these instruments favorites among performing and recording musicians.

The guitar features a solid Sitka spruce top paired with solid mahogany back and sides, producing a balanced voice with excellent projection, strong fundamentals, and impressive clarity across all twelve strings. The Grand Symphony-style body delivers a large, articulate sound while maintaining the responsiveness that fingerstyle players appreciate.

This example is dated August 25, 1997 and includes the original Taylor hardshell case. The guitar remains in very good overall condition and has been professionally inspected and tested.

There is a fine crack visible on the top extending from the bridge area toward the lower bout. Upon inspection, the crack appears to be limited to the top finish and surface wood layer and does not appear to extend through the body. The guitar remains structurally stable and plays well. Please review all photos carefully for condition details.

Very Good overall condition. Tested and fully functional. Light cosmetic wear consistent with normal use. Fine finish/top crack visible extending from the bridge toward the lower bout. Crack appears to be superficial and does not appear to extend through the body. Structurally stable with good playability. Includes original Taylor hardshell case.
