Built during Carvin's heyday in Escondido, California, the Pro Bass 500 is a powerful, feature-rich solid-state bass amplifier designed for serious players. Delivering up to 500 watts bridged at 8 ohms or 250 watts per channel in stereo/bi-amp mode, this amp offers tremendous flexibility for live performance and larger stage rigs.

The front panel includes separate high and low inputs, compressor/sustain controls, switchable noise gate, parametric mid EQ, active bass and treble controls, crossover controls, and a built-in 5-band graphic EQ. Around back you'll find stereo power amp outputs, bridge mode capability, effects loop, balanced XLR direct output, footswitch jack, and bi-amp routing options.

Made in the USA, these Carvin heads earned a reputation for reliability, clean power, and extensive tone shaping. Whether you're running a traditional bass cabinet or a bi-amped setup, the Pro Bass 500 has plenty of headroom and tonal flexibility.

Condition

This amplifier is in good overall condition with normal cosmetic wear from regular use. The carpet covering shows some wear and light fraying around the corners, along with minor scuffs and dust consistent with age. The control panel, rear panel, and all controls remain in good working order. The amp has been fully tested and functions as intended. Footswitch is not included.
