Ludwig Rocker 14" x 5" Chrome Metal Snare Drum

This vintage Ludwig Rocker snare is a straightforward, hard-hitting 14" snare with a chrome-finished metal shell. Rocker Series drums were designed as affordable working and student instruments and have developed a reputation as solid, usable vintage Ludwig drums.

The approximately 5" deep shell gives the drum a quick, articulate response with plenty of crack and projection, making it suitable for rock, pop, rehearsal, school percussion, or general-purpose kit use.

This example features Ludwig hardware, eight lugs, internal tone control/muffler, snare strainer, chrome hoops, and a chrome-finished shell.

Condition:

Good used condition with noticeable cosmetic wear consistent with age and previous use. The chrome shell and hardware show scratches, scuffs, oxidation, tarnishing, pitting, and other age-related wear. The Ludwig badge also shows cosmetic wear.

The batter head is heavily used and shows substantial stick wear, discoloration, and marks. The snare-side head and snare wires also show age and use.
