1981 Fender F-3 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar – Made in Korea

A cool and relatively uncommon vintage Fender acoustic, this F-3 was produced in Korea during 1981 and features a traditional dreadnought body with a natural finish.

According to Fender's historical acoustic guitar records, the F-3 was offered during 1981 and features a spruce top with mahogany back and sides.

This example retains its classic understated appearance with a natural spruce top, dark bridge and fingerboard, black pickguard, Fender headstock logo, chrome tuning machines, and decorative center strip along the back.

The interior label identifies the instrument as a Fender Model F-3 with serial number FY15786.

Condition:

Used and in very good overall condition, especially considering its age.

The guitar shows normal cosmetic evidence of previous use and age, including light scratches, scuffs, small marks, finish wear, and other minor signs of handling. The hardware also shows normal age-related wear.

The top, back, sides, neck, headstock, bridge, and other major components present nicely in the photos with no major cosmetic damage noted.

The included vintage-style Fender chipboard case shows normal cosmetic wear and aging from previous use and storage. Please note that this is a chipboard/fiberboard-style case rather than a molded or wooden hardshell case.

The guitar has been inspected and tested and is functioning as intended.
