2015 Cort MBC-1 Matthew Bellamy Signature – Matte Black

This used Cort MBC-1 Matthew Bellamy Signature was developed through a collaboration between Cort, Manson Guitar Works, and Muse guitarist Matthew Bellamy, bringing the distinctive design and performance-oriented features of Bellamy's custom Manson instruments to a more accessible production model.

Finished in Matte Black, the MBC-1 features a distinctive single-cutaway solid body, bolt-on maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, and a versatile Manson-designed pickup configuration.

The neck position features a Manson-designed single-coil pickup while the bridge position uses a higher-output Manson-designed humbucker. A 3-way pickup selector provides access to each pickup individually or both together.

One of the MBC-1's signature features is its onboard momentary kill button, allowing the player to rapidly cut the guitar's signal for rhythmic and stutter-style effects.

The guitar is completed with a Tune-O-Matic-style bridge and stopbar tailpiece along with locking tuning machines.

Serial number 150818893 is consistent with early Indonesian production from 2015.
