Celestion G12 Alnico Blue T4436 12" 15W 16 Ohm Guitar Speaker - 1997

The Celestion G12 Alnico Blue is one of Celestion's most recognizable guitar speakers, known for its Alnico magnet, highly responsive feel, musical compression, and classic British voice.

This example is model T4436B and is the 15/16-ohm version. The date code visible on the front gasket dates this speaker to May 28, 1997, making it an earlier example of Celestion's modern Alnico Blue production.

The G12 Blue is rated at 15 watts and uses a 12" cone with an Alnico magnet. It is particularly associated with vintage-style British guitar amplifiers and is an excellent choice for lower-powered combos, extension cabinets, and other applications where its power rating and impedance are appropriate.

Condition:

This speaker is in very good used condition with light cosmetic wear consistent with age and previous installation.

The blue frame and magnet cover remain very clean overall with some minor marks from handling and installation. The cone, surround and dust cap appear clean and intact with no obvious tears or repairs visible.

Please review all photos closely for the best representation of overall cosmetic condition.

The speaker has been tested and is functioning properly.

A clean early-production example of Celestion's reintroduced Alnico Blue and an excellent replacement or upgrade speaker for an appropriately powered guitar amplifier or cabinet.
