The Audio-Technica MB2000L is a handheld cardioid dynamic microphone from the Midnight Blues series, designed for live vocal and instrument applications.

Its cardioid pickup pattern helps reduce unwanted sound from the sides and rear, while the dynamic element and rugged handheld construction make it well suited for stage, rehearsal and general PA use.

The MB2000L also features Audio-Technica's MagnaLock on/off switch, which can be locked in the on position to help prevent accidental switching during use.
